The LCN - "An Avon resident is facing drug charges following the investigation of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Nations Road and Fowlerville Road in the town, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Deputies responded to the accident about 5:40 p.m. Sept. 23.
During the investigation there were indications of drug activity found within the vehicle. Deputies located heroin, Suboxone, marijuana, hypodermic needles and smoking devices in the vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Further investigation revealed that the passenger, Chelsea A. Dalcin, 26, of Avon was in possession of additional drugs, including heroin and cocaine. It is also alleged that Dalcin attempted to hide the drugs and paraphernalia that were in the car, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Dalcin was charged with felony tampering with physical evidence, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a control substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
Dalcin was later arraigned in the Town of Avon Court before Justice Peter Piampiano, who remanded her to the custody of the Sheriff on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
The accident investigation determined that the vehicle was operated by Dakota Dibble, 24, of Avon, and was traveling northbound on Nations Road when she and failed to stop at the “T” intersection. The vehicle then crossed Fowlerville Road and came to rest in a field, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Dibble was transported by EMS to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing and further charges are anticipated.

The LCN - "A Springwater woman is facing multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop on Lakeville Road, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputy Shawn Whitford stopped a vehicle about 9:10 p.m. Sept. 21 for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
The driver, Megan R. Koch, 32, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended New York State driver’s license. She was also found to be in possession of several hypodermic needles, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Koch was arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed that Koch was also allegedly in possession of six bags of heroin, Suboxone, and a small amount of cocaine, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Koch was additionally charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Koch was later arraigned in the Town of Avon Court before Justice Peter Piampiano, who remanded Koch to the custody of the Sheriff on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond."
