NYS Police: Man Ditched Motorcycle, Denied Driving Drunk

A Greece man was arrested after police say he drove drunk on a motorcycle.  New York State Police say officers stopped Michael D'Piazza, 33, at a DWI checkpoint on Route 490. Police said D'Piazza stopped his motorcycle, shut it off, threw his helmet, jacket in the bushes and tried to walk away. According to 13WHAM, When troopers tried to talk to him D'Piazza denied driving the motorcycle. D'Piazza was arrested and charged with felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, as well as using a motor vehicle without an interlock device and other traffic charges.
